Intense red pepper taste with a hint of smoke aroma – if the ingredients are good, you don’t need much for full culinary relish. The slim recipe is very important to us. For Herr Edelmann smoked red pepper soup we only process what we would use in our kitchen at home, especially fresh, sun-ripe, red Kapija peppers. That’s why we only produce this soup once a year, at harvest time. We process the peppers in the region where they grow so that they retain their full aroma. The paprika powder is smoked over oak wood and gets its smoky flavour naturally, without the use of artificial smoke flavours. Velvety and fruity, the Herr Edelmann smoked red pepper soup is a light and delicious meal, very good with a piece of crispy bread or even pure. It is ready to eat and only needs to be briefly warmed in a pot or microwave. The recipe is a family recipe, which we have enjoyed preparing at home for a long time.
