We accept the challenge of finding suitable suppliers for the retail market, of arranging sources of supply and solutions. We always take the latest consumer trends into account and keep an eye on the retail market’s processes and realities, for example when it comes to issues about logistics or packaging shapes and sizes. To supply our German retail customers with products promptly and in line with their needs, we have our internationally active partner in the logistics and warehousing sector, Dachser Logistik.

Selected producers who want to market their food in Germany also benefit from our market knowledge. For as attractive as the EU’s largest consumer market with its more than 83 million inhabitants and above-average purchasing power is, it is also highly competitive. As a local partner, we know the needs of customers and retailers alike and are available to food manufacturers as an external sales service provider to develop their business professionally in Germany – with market analyses and strategic advice as well as assistance with practical issues such as logistics or payment methods.
In doing so, we look closely at what we are selling. When deciding to take over the distribution of a product, quality plays a major role for us. From the selection of raw materials to gentle processing – the principle of “as pure and natural as possible”, which we have already made a principle with our Herr Edelmann range, also applies to the products we represent. In addition, we constantly communicate the latest consumer wishes and trends on the retail market to our producers and influence the recipes and/or the product design as a result. So that a really good food ends up on the shelf later on.

Our company was founded in 1889 and has been managed by the fourth generation, Bernd Huberti, since 1993. As a classic commercial agency in the food segment for many years, the Huberti family was already searching for high quality food early on. We take our responsibility to find the exceptional and high quality for our Herr Edelmann brand more seriously than ever before.
